America’s Test Kitchen- Brookline- As seen on TV this space has many uses. Occupied for fifty weeks of the year as a test kitchen for the popular television program and subsequent publications, this kitchen has over eight workstations and has as many as twenty people cooking at the same time. For two weeks of the year, testing is suspended and the space is transformed into a television studio for the production of America’s Test Kitchen. Given the nature of their work, the design intent was to create a laboratory for the fine art of cooking. credit: Wilson Architects, photos: Anton Grassl
