Nestled in the woods of Truro, the client desired for their former summer cottage to be transformed into a new home for seaside living. Although quaint, the original cottage was settling into the sand without a foundation. Later additions, constructed in a more substantial manner existed all around the original cottage. Christopher worked within the existing footprint of the cottage and created a design that salvaged portions of the existing structure. This concept served to both reuse parts of the house while saving cost in new construction. This home has been repurposed into an open plan living space for family and friends.
